These mugs leave - instead of annoying rings - pretty coffee patterns on the table.

While enjoying hot drinks out of a mug the coffee drinker often leaves a ring on the table, which is usually no welcome.

With this series of cups I want to face the unpopularity of these unlovely spots and sanitise its public image.

The new patterns that evolve on the table can initiate a discussion about each other‘s attitudes to e.g a political topic already at breakfast.

Rather than sticking to fixed ideologies, today‘s people balance advantages and disadvantages for every situation separately. Pragmatism is the ideology of this generation.
